OUR FAMILY PLOT IS INDIANA

We designed this stone for the family when Mitzi passed away. We had no idea the Lord would take our son in such a short time afterward. Its hard to comprehend he has been gone for 10 years already. He's be 29. God is faithful. Thank you Jesus.

Visiting dear Friends and Charlotte and Nic,k's wedding pics

It was wonderful seeing everyone. Jack and Vaughn looked like brothers in high school. Now they just look like cute old guys and we look like cute old gals. God has been good to all of us.
Weren't the great grand children adorable in Charlotte's wedding.

Nick and Charlotte's Wedding July 8, 2008

Nick is 86 and Charlotte is 87 and they look and act like teenage love. They were so cute and so happy to find each other. They filled the church with children, grandchildren and great granchildren for their wedding. It was so wonderful.

Flooded new bridge on Washington St. Shell Rock

1. The top of the new bridge in Shell Rock on Washington Street and the top of the house behind it.
2. The shed behind the white two story on Washington street.
3. A white house down near the river near the swimming pool.
4. A beautiful on Washington
5.

Flood of June 9, 08 that made us an Island

1. Shell Rock Fire Trucks blocked off the main bridge through town at 6 PM because of the rapidly rising waters.
2. The Wirtz kids came to see.
3. An idiot who thinks others can risk their lives to come save him when his car dies mid-stream as he enters the road.
4. A farm on Cedar Wapsi Rd. that has never had water before.
5. The road below the swimming pool in Shell Rock
6. The right side then left side of the damn with the water smashing through it. Fema closed all crossing at about 6 PM
7. The Mayor of Shell Rock and our police man supervising.
8. The incredible power and speed of the water at the Shell Rock Bridge.
9. The old Mill with water 2/3 of the way up the lower windows of the home.
10. Vaughn standing at the edge of a 2 mile stretch of flooded road North of Finchford where we were looking for a path to Hwy. 218. The speed of the water was amazingly swift even where it looks like its shallow. The depth at the very edge is over your shoes where it looks like its just a bit wet!

Flood or June 9, 08

1. Another road just past Finchford on the way to 218.
2. The sand bags didn't work any longer so they emtied their houses at this location in the next three pictures.
3. 2 more miles of flooded road we found when we were trying to get off the island we are trapped in. The water was so deep and swift it mounded on the far side in the ditch as it sped across another road.
4. Water crashing across the roadway for over 2 miles. Vaughn stood on the edge catching fish with his hands as they tried to swim upstream, though he never went more than 3 feet into the water it was so swift.
5. Another fool passing through flood waters so others can be put at risk to save them. Took this with a zoom lens of him entering the water.
