And Now for the rest of the Story.... the mess!

As we approach the new week, I have rivers of cleaning to do. We have very precious friends coming. A young man named Brian, whom we love, and his wife that we have never met. Neither have ever been to our home. As you can CLEARLY SEE, I have much to do today, since I work all the rest of the week from 2-10 and I still have to drive to Menards to pick up our new sink. They just called to say it was in. I can hardly wait for both. But, oh my, there is much to do. Perhaps we'll even have plumbing before the weekend now!!!! But look at the messsssssss! Ha! God has a sense of humor!

Ripping out the Bathroom

This all began when we decided to put down a new tile floor and rip out the old carpet. When we lifted the sink we discovered the tub was leaking behind the walls and the drywall just crumbled away and so did the sink. We needed to re-do all the plumbing... so....



This is our tub area two days ago. As of one day ago, Vaughn and Greg and Al removed the tub and potty. Yesterday Rick Marquette came and hung drywall everywhere but the plumbing has to be done. It looks much nicer. Once I charge my camera batteries I will show it to you. It was very discouraging yesterday when I headed out to work. Today I have hope!!!!!!!!!!
