In this world you will know tribulaton, but Fear Not, for I have overcome the World. JESUS

Tonight Hope was in an auto accident. A farm tractor with a huge grain wagon attached almost drove over her on a bridge bridge near our home. He was partially in her lane with the huge tractor tire ready to drive over her car. At the last second he swerved toward the bridge guard rails and simply crushed the entire side of her Pontiac SunFire. Both people were ok, not even a scratch. Praise God! Thank you Jesus for watching over all that is ours. We'll put a photo of her new car on the blog when it all gets settled.

Our precious children visited this weekend!!!!!

The weekend with the kids visiting!
What a joyful and fun time.
Life gets casual once you are married! Right Rebecka!!!!!!!!!!!!

The end of a fun weekend with all our precious, young friends we've collected over a life time!
We had a terrrific time in Galena and at home on the farm eating and playing Loaded Questions! We are very blessed to have so many young people in our lives who still come around even though we are ancient!
Thanks guys. We love you all!

Melanie, Rebecka and Nathan and Hope after a fun day
in Galena shopping and eating and goofing off.
It was nice to refresh our friendship
and add some new and wonderful memories to our lives!

We finally got to meet Melanie!
What a charming angel. We love her already.
Hope hasn't seen Brian since 1998. She's changed a lot in 9 years. They were
delighted to meet again. She kept talking about remembering how she used
to dance on top his shoes! He kept talking about how he wouldn't have recognized her.
It was a delightful weekend with both of them and the other children.
What fun!! We'll always love Brian and we are so glad he found such a wonderful wife!
He's always been one of our special kids. I am glad he's remained in our lives. He's a great guy. Glad we finally met you Melanie! You are a wonderful woman.
I hope we get to be even better friends over time!
